Following it’s European reveal in Geneva last month, Mazda have released further details on the highly anticipated all-new CX-5 pricing and specifications. Here’s what we know.
All-new CX-5 Specification
Details of what we can expect inside the all-new CX-5 have been trickling out since the car was first revealed last November. This included the similar dimensions as the current generation, as well as identical engine options. It has now been announced that the all-new CX-5 will come in two trim levels – SE-L Nav and Sport Nav. Both trim levels will come in manual and automatic, and 2- and 4-wheel-drive.
Even from the entry level model, the all-new CX-5 comes kitted out with the latest equipment. LED headlights, daytime running lights and fog lights; adaptive front lighting, and front and rear parking sensors come as standard.
Jump up to the Sport Nav and the all-new CX-5 includes a reversing camera, 19″ gunmetal alloy wheels and power tilt and slide sunroof*.
The alll-new CX-5’s interior reflects Mazda’s Jinba Ittai philosophy. Everything has been optimised to create a seamless harmony between car and driver. This includes manual driver and passenger height- and driver’s lumbar adjustment, auto-dimming rear-view mirror and rear seat recline as-standard. Dual-zone climate control air conditioning, cruise control and automatic lights and wipers will also be featured in all models.
Upgrade to the Sport Nav and the all-new CX-5 offers smart keyless entry, heated front seats, windscreen projected colour Active Driving Display (HUD), 8-way power adjustable driver seat with memory and wiper de-icer.
In the digital age, state-of-the-art on-board technology is key. And the all-new CX-5 has your technological needs covered. Bluetooth connectivity with internet app integration, 7″ colour touchscreen with MZD-Connect, USB connectivity and integrated navigation with 3-years free European map updates all come as-standard.
And moving up to the Sport Nav the all-new CX-5 comes with a premium Bose surround system with 10 Bose speakers.
It has already been revealed that the all-new CX-5 will include Mazda’s i-ACTIVSENSE safety technology. This includes Smart City Brake Support, Driver Attention Alert, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring System, Hill Launch Assist and Mazda Radar Cruise Control**. In addition, the all-new CX-5 will include Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), front, side and curtain airbags, DSC, TCS and Emergency Stop Signalling and ISOFIX child seat anchorages as-standard.
All-new CX-5 Pricing
The all-new CX-5 starts with an on the road price of just £23,695. And for the top of the range AWD 2.2 175PS Auto Sport Nav, the price comes in at £33,195.
Mazda will also offer a variety of added extras, including stunning premium paint options like the all-new Soul Red Crystal Metallic Paint.
