Hyundai is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its industry-leading Five Year Warranty scheme.
Ever felt that sinking feeling as your car breaks down just outside of its standard two- or three-year warranty period? Not with a Hyundai you haven’t.
The Korean firm’s Five Year Warranty scheme was launched back in 2002 and offers full coverage for a massive 60 months over an unlimited amount of miles – assurance and peace of mind indeed.
It’s unmatched in the UK since, too. But Hyundai hasn’t rested on its laurels. Back in 2010 the marque introduced its Five Year Triple Care package on the Hyundai ix35 crossover – offering an even greater service – with the warranty coming as standard on all passenger cars since July 2011.
President and CEO of Hyundai Motor UK, Tony Whitehorn:
“It’s great to celebrate 10 years of unrivalled peace of mind for our customers. Five Year Triple Care is an integral part of our strategy to deliver high-quality vehicles and customer services.
“We have seen a growing number of buyers coming to Hyundai for the first time, looking for a brand that represents quality and reliability − a brand they can trust.
“This is even more important for company cars drivers as the warranty is unlimited for the full five years − ensuring that their vehicles are covered irrespective of the number of miles driven.”
Since 2002, over 450,000 motorists have benefited from Hyundai’s Five Year Warranty package, many from the latest Triple Care initiative too – if you should be so unlucky as to encounter a manufacturing defect in your car, you want it to be a Hyundai.
Not only will the carmaker cover the cost of the repair within that five-year period no matter what the vehicle’s mileage is, they’ll also provide you with round the clock RAC roadside assistance anywhere in the UK or Channel Islands – including your home address.
To make sure your car is up to the firm’s exacting standards, Hyundai will give your motor free annual vehicle health checks for five years too.
And unlike many other manufacturer’s warranty packages, Hyundai’s Five Year Warranty and Triple Care coverage stays with the car and can be transferred between owners.
Hyundai’s warranty scheme started well, and after 10 years it’s gone from strength to strength, offering unrivalled protection for customers’ cars. Here’s to the next 10 Hyundai.
