Suzuki Celerio at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show

Capitalising on its amazing momentum with the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross and the continued success of the Suzuki Swift supermini, the Japanese firm will be out in force at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Making its European debut will be the car pictured above, the Suzuki Celerio.

First shown at the Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year, this new European specification model marks the arrival of an all-new city car for Suzuki. That’s something to get excited about.

For years the manufacturer’s current Suzuki Alto has led the way in the city car segment, offering amazing levels of practicality and value. That car is on sale in the UK at an affordable £5,999.

Details are scarce at this stage, but T W White & Sons will be on the ground in Geneva to give you a full show report on the new Suzuki Celerio.

Expect the Celerio to remain excellent value but offer even more performance, efficiency, safety and equipment compared to the Alto.

In fact, the firm states, “the Celerio features an exceptionally roomy interior for an A-segment car as well as low CO2 emissions continuing Suzuki’s reputation for pocket-friendly motoring.”

The new Suzuki Celerio will sit on the Japanese manufacturer’s show stand alongside the current Alto, as well as the Splash, Swift, Swift Sport, SX4 S-Cross, Jimny and Grand Vitara.
