Suzuki Celerio soon to Launch in UK

Comfortable and spacious on the inside  – compact and stylish on the outside

The Suzuki Celerio is the new kid on the block. The small car that’s surprisingly well equipped with everything from class-leading boot space, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity and air conditioning – it’s got everything you need for pretty much any journey.

Not only is it well equipped on the inside, the Suzuki Celerio oozes the style which its predecessor, the Alto, somewhat missed. The Celerio features a continuous front grille and headlight design, alloy wheels as standard and a sleeker exterior body shape.

Unlike many of the Celerio’s rivals, Suzuki understands that customers who are after small city cars still want class and quality features. Not only has the Suzuki Celerio improved upon the entry-level specification of its predecessor, the Celerio SZ3 comes with a whole host of unexpected features as standard: air conditioning, remote central locking, ESP, DAB radio with CD player and USB connectivity.

The SZ3 is available as a 1.0 petrol 5-speed manual, or a newly designed 1.0 Dueljet petrol engine.

The Dueljet engine works by injecting fuel as a finely atomised spray through two injectors per cylinder – hugely improving the efficiency of the combustion. The engine also has an automatic stop-start system, which kicks in when the vehicle stops and is idle (like when at traffic lights). This results in a combined fuel economy of a whopping 78.4mpg (for the 1.0 petrol engine)

The SZ4 is available as an Auto Gear Shift– which is a brand new automated manual transmission which uses a hydraulic actuator positioned immediately beside the 5-speed manual transmission. This automatically operates the clutch and gear shift when required. The result is a car which drives like an automatic, with all the economy of a manual.

Starting from just £7,999 OTR, the Suzuki Celerio will be available to view at our Effingham Showroom on 24th and 25th January for its National Launch, and will be on sale from 1st February 2015.
