Meet the all-new Mazda3

The All-New Mazda3

Meet the all-new Mazda3, the latest model using Mazda’s SKYACTIV technology. Driving you forward with advanced safety features packed into a streamlined, sculpted body delivering the ultimate driving experience.

Available as either a five-door hatchback or a four-door fastback saloon, offered in five trim levels as petrol or diesel. The all-new Mazda3 comes with the advanced SKYACTIV technology, delivering excellent efficiency and strong performance. For example, even the most powerful six-speed automatic version of the 165hp 2.0-litre petrol emits no more than 135g/km CO2, while the diesel has returned as much as 74.2mpg in official EU testing. Not bad considering it also delivers 150hp and 0-62mph in a swift 8 seconds flat.

The all-new Mazda3 makes the most of Mazda’s sporting heritage, with a delightful six-speed manual gearbox reminiscent of the Mazda MX-5, sharp steering and a good sense of being planted on the road. Unlike most cars, it gets better the faster you drive. Offering a perfectly balanced ride with dynamic and responsive handling, it deals with bumps effortlessly and corners with very little body roll.

In addition to its excellent athletic ability, the all-new Mazda3 sees a significant step-up in terms of interior comfort, and we’re not just talking about the materials or how it has been screwed together. Every intricate detail about the way the Mazda3 functions inside has been extremely well thought through, ensuring the finest finish.

A key addition is the 7″ multimedia touchscreen with a simple rotary controller and voice command option, so Mazda has all preferences covered. Bluetooth and USB connectivity are included as standard, as well as Aha and Stitcher app integration allowing you to access Facebook, Twitter and Internet radio. There is the option to have satellite navigation on the ‘Nav’ trim lines with three years of free European map updates.

The all-new Mazda3 is even more practical and roomy than before, as the Japanese firm has extended the car’s wheelbase and widened the track to increase the passenger space, with generous shoulder and rear legroom. The front seats are a special anti-vibration design, both comfortable and supportive.

Final string to the Mazda3′s bow is an impressive array of safety technology, grouped under the heading ‘i-Activsense’. The six standard airbags and stability control are boosted by more advanced features, including autonomous braking to help avoid or reduce low-speed accidents (Smart City Brake Support).

Overall it’s an appealing package. Add the ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’ visual design and the all-new Mazda3 has certainly got what it takes to stand out in the crowd.
