In a world premiere, Mazda will unveil its all-new compact crossover SUV – the highly anticipated Mazda CX‑3 at the Los Angeles Auto Show at the end of next month.
The All-New Mazda CX-3 is the latest model in Mazda’s line-up of new-generation products which feature the full range of SKYACTIV technology and KODO – Soul of Motion designs.
The Mazda CX-3 is a compact crossover vehicle, set to rival the hugely popular Nissan Juke. It is expected to go on sale in the UK later next year. Official photos have yet to be revealed, but concept sketches reveal the mini SUV to have a look that means business with that “go anywhere, achieve anything” attitude. Under the skin, the CX-3 uses a platform from the all-new Mazda 2 (launching in Europe next week, and equally expected on sale in the UK early next year).
The imagination teasing sketch shows the CX-3 uses the same styling themes as other Mazda models. In pursuing a design of beauty and sophistication, the essence of Mazda’s KODO Soul of Motion- the expression of life within a vehicle, the CX-3 design “evolved to produce a sharper form and an enhanced sense of speed”.
The Los Angeles Auto Show opens to the press on November 18, with the CX-3 scheduled to be unveiled at 10.30 local time on the 19. The show will be open to the general public from November 21-23.
In addition to the CX-3, the all-new Mazda MX-5 roadster will also make its North American motor show debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, as will the updated Mazda 6 and Mazda CX-5.
