The practical and stylish Hyundai i30 Tourer has officially bolstered the acclaimed new i30 range after the new vehicle recently went into production at Hyundai’s European manufacturing facility.
The new generation i30 Tourer offers the same successful blend of quality, value, style, efficiency and driving pleasure that the i30 five-door hatchback prides itself on – but adds even more practicality and flexibility thanks to the added space of the new estate car.
The Tourer’s luggage capacity stands at a maximum 1,642 litres with the rear seats folded – larger than some estates in the class above – and up 326 litres more than the i30 hatchback. However, this extra space doesn’t compromise the car’s excellent inherent driving dynamics: the new model retains the same excellent drive as the hatch.
Importantly, it’s a safe car too. All Hyundai i30’s get a full five-star Euro NCAP crash safety rating – if you’re transporting family or friends, the most precious cargo of all, we know it’s important to feel secure behind the wheel.
With Hyundai’s five-year triple care package – offering five year’s unlimited mileage warranty, roadside assistance and annual vehicle health checks – you can feel secure away from the wheel, too.
The Tourer gets the same powerful yet frugal engine line-up used in the five-door Hyundai i30. That means strong 0-62mph performance of 10.9 seconds yet fuel economy and emissions of up to 78.5mpg and 100g/km CO2, meaning zero road tax.
The same great equipment levels found on the i30 hatch will be present in the new car as well. The Tourer will come in four trim levels – Classic, Active, Style and Style Nav – and offers premium features such as satellite navigation, cruise control, leather upholstery and automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, as well as standard-fit air conditioning and Bluetooth connectivity.
