Check out the all-new Mazda CX3, launching in June this year
The all-new Mazda CX3 will be the latest edition to Mazda’a range come June, when this sophisticated, compact SUV will be launching in the UK.
Seamlessly combining innovative SKYACTIV technology with Mazda’s “KODO: Soul of Motion” design means that this crossover is not only eye-catching and practical, but is exceptionally fuel efficient too.
Adopting the Japanese brand’s signature fluid styling and sculpted panels and distinctive from every angle, the front of the CX3 shows off narrow, cat eye-like LED headlamps and a silver-edged, sharp looking grille. Sweeping contours draw your eye across the side profile and up and over the pronounced wheel arches. The rear is completed with twin exhausts and sculpted taillight clusters. The overall impression is assertive and eye-catching.
But beauty isn’t just on the outside. Inside the Mazda CX-3, the cabin features a whole range of innovative technology. The car is designed with comfort and practicality in mind, and this is clearly reflected in the dashboard layout. It is driver-focused with the car’s controls, a head-up display, seven-inch infotainment system (controlled through a swivel wheel on the centre console) all within easy reach. Mazda’s in-car connectivity system – MZD Connect – allows passengers to access the Internet on the move, and also includes features such as audio streaming and Bluetooth.
Despite generous levels of technology, comfort and practicality are by no means compromised, and lie at the heart of the all-new Mazda CX-3’s cabin. Innovative design combined with the highest levels of craftsmanship and quality materials create a space that will make even the longest journeys a true pleasure.
At 4,275mm, the CX-3 is a fraction longer than one of its main rivals, the Nissan Juke, but it’s lower, at only 1,550m tall. Underneath the sculpted exterior, the Mazda CX-3 boasts the latest SKYACTIV technology. Engine options will include the all-new 104bhp 1.5-litre SkyActiv-D diesel, as well as 118bhp and 148bhp versions of the 2.0-litre SkyActiv-G petrol. Each engine option comes with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic box. The CX-3 also feature Mazda’s new all-wheel-drive system, which features active torque control which monitors front wheel slip and distributes power evenly to maximise traction.
Available starting from £17,595, the Mazda CX3 achieves a fantastic 61.4mpg¹ combined with CO2 Emissions from as little as 105g/km.
